Christmas Questions for You--Help Please!
The Great 2006 Work Rush Is
Finally ... OVER...
I survived! I can breathe again. I can enjoy life again. I can blog if I want to. I can continue to celebrate my birthday all week (it's going great... got taken to dinner again last night and am going to a birthday lunch today and another birthday dinner tomorrow). And most importantly, I can begin Christmas shopping...it's about time!
Questions:
1. Have you finished Christmas shopping?
2. Did you buy mostly presents or mostly gift cards?
3. Did you put up a Christmas tree? Real or not real?
2. Did you buy mostly presents or mostly gift cards?
3. Did you put up a Christmas tree? Real or not real?
Thanks for the input!

1. Pretty Much (I've got one gift left to get)
2. Gifts, Superwoman is baking bread for friends/family gifts.
3. Yes, we have a 7 foot fake tree we put up. No needles, no allergies, no fire danger (or significantly reduced fire dange) and it still looks great. The tree is one of my favorite things about Christmas.
Gawd,
Don'tcha hate people like Teresa? ;)
1. No. Maybe Jane and I can team up.

no tree. didn't feel like unpacking christmas stuff considering I'm trying to pack to eventual move.
glad your world is more calm.
1. Shopping was finished a month ago. (I know, don't hate me...I started in Feb.)
2. Exactly 50/50.
3. Tree is up. It looks real ... even the bark on the trunk feels like real bark ... bought it on terrysvillage.com for $35. Seriously, best fake tree I've ever had! It's bark-like all the way up and the branches are soft like real needles.
Okay, may I first state that I very much dislike the fact that Teresa and JavaJabber have finished they're Christmas shopping. That's just ... sick! :)
Second, Mr. Fab, the massage idea sounds great. Was that an offer or a suggestion? Just curious...
Jane, I say the later I shop the better. I work well under pressure. Maybe I won't start shopping until Friday (well, no, probably not.)
Jen, 1. I like your style. 2. Gift cards rock, and I may just get everyone THAT. 3. I wired up my fig tree in the living room--works for me!
Sushiboy, wow, for a family that just moved, you guys really have your act together. I'd still be unpacking boxes and telling everyone I was celebrating Christmas in January.
Mixednut, I think jane would be delighted to do a Target run with you. Or TJ Maxx. Everyone's doing a fake tree. Even the fig tree I wired up is fake. What a world! :)
Chris, you're way too organized. I dare you to wait a few more days before buying the final presents. haha!
Mel, I rushed through my final job so you wouldn't threaten me any more. I just hate to be threatened. :) I'm a'dancin' too!
Teri, most people I know are struggling with wanting to put up a tree this year. Must be the 60-degree weather in these parts.
Javajabber, please see my comment UP THERE ^^^. It's not right. It's just not right! :)
