Irish Day on Wednesday! Get Ready!
Wednesday is Irish Day in The World According to Zed. Please plan ahead what you will be bringing. I'll be doing a few Irish jigs and will be wearing red tartan. Even my shoes and hat will be red tartan! And I'll bring along a map of this beautiful country.
So... plan now what you will bring. We'll need food, drinks, clothing, songs, dances, people (living or dead), animals, insects, fish, jokes, and a few good tenors!
Hugh Jackman will be there, ladies, as well as Conan O'Brien and Colin Farrell. I might invite Mary, Queen of Scots for the men. There aren't many famous Irish women. Please bring one if you can find one. For those who were wondering, no invite has been issued to Sinead O'Connor.
Come join the fun on Wednesday's Irish Day! See you then!

I got on but it's pretty empty, so I'm assuming not many others made it on either.
Bring the stew! And don't forget the carrots please!
PLEASE, no americanizing the Irish country. leave the green behind...........
oh, and don't forget Pierce Brosnan. I'll bring him along as well.....
Yes, Pierce Brosnan! And I think we might see a lot of little lepruchans. And potatoes in the stew--a must-have.
Oh an Irish day! Lets see what can I bring that's Irish? Oh I know - ME and my husband since we're Irish. Hubby's also a tenor so that works too. Perhaps some guinness?
Anything else?
I've got the corned beef and cabbage covered.
Is Van Morrison coming?
What about The Cranberries?
Oh, and I'll bring my Titanic DVD.
I am looking for a pot o' gold to bring, but we are in a drought so rainbows are scarce. If anyone finds a pot of gold it MINE!!! All mine.
I love the cranberries.
Hmm, I'm part Irish, so I guess I can just bring myself.
me too, Nobody. Just me and my last name are Irish enough.
Hey Sis, I don't mind, in any way, for Hugh to be there but isn't he Australian?
Teri, I think Hugh is sort of an uni-national/international sort of guy. You know, we can just bring him in on any day: Malaysia Day, Scotland Day, Brazilia Day, New Zealand Day.
He just fits, not matter what the country.
Oh, and yes, I've been working again today. Darn!
Amy, Colin Farrell will be there also. I just hope he behaves himself with the ladies--he likes to pit one against the other, and I don't want any free-for-alls.
Mel, when you find the gold I'll take some, okay? Just a bit. so I don't have to work anymore. :)
Albacteria, we'll try to remember the Irish bacteria at the very least.
Tricia, guinness--love it! I'm also looking for bagpipes. If you have any, please bring them.
sis, do you have an email address that I can bother you?
Mr. Fab, I like the idea of the green food coloring. You use it however you want, but I'm going to make green cupcakes with green icing--or should that be orange icing? Sound disgusting, doesn't it?
Teresa, bring the movie. If we get tired later in the day we can watch that old movie. Oh, what about "How Green Was My Valley"?Talk about a tearjerker! Almost everyone died in that film. I think I may cry just thinking about it. ... Or was that film about Wales? Wales, Ireland, England, Scotland--they sort of meld.
TERI!!! LOOKA HERE:

you're the best! expect an email from me.
Green eggs and ham? Can I bring that? Or maybe some cabbage. Green beer? A blarney stone? Julia Roberts, isn't she Irish?
irish day
YAY!
They know how to party
- thinking ahead
what's the next party?
Did you have Canada Day Yet?
How about France day?
I know how you fancy the french...
France day way off. Waaaaaaaaaaaaay off. :)
I was thinking today that we should probably branch out a bit to either Africa or South America--or even Iceland. According to my ClustrMap (if it ever gets updated again in my lifetime, haha), I've got folks visiting me from Iceland.
But France? That's waaaaaaaaaaaaaaay off. Unless, of course, they get their act together. I can be very forgiving. :)
"Green eggs and ham? Can I bring that? Or maybe some cabbage. Green beer? A blarney stone? Julia Roberts, isn't she Irish?"
Shelli, Julia Roberts is IRISH? Since when? :)
But I like all the other things you've chosen--bring 'em. (Cabbage stinks though--I mean literally stinks.)
Don't forget to stop by tomorrow with the goods!
