I've signed up, but I'm already thinking that was a mistake. I might deactivate the account by tomorrow. Who cares if I just had a drink of water or have to buy mushrooms for dinner?
I've been on Twitter for a couple of years - it and FB are the reasons I've ceased to blog. Twitter, in particular, has been like a magic door that opened into a room of friendly, interesting, like-minded people. I've made friends locally. I'm @giftedtypist if you're signed up, please say hi over there - are you @zed? I will check back

I've signed up for Twitter, but never used it. I've just never gotten into it. As time-wasting methods go, I'd lean more towards the Book of Faces.
twitter is good for folks who like to say:
"I'm not at the 7-Eleven getting soda."
"I'm still in bed", etc.
I'm on it because I follow my sister and some other folks but their twitter ties into their facebook so it comes up as status updates, anyway.
unless your life is a whirl wind of activity, twitter isn't worth it.

Thank you Chris and Teri for your input!
