Dell Isn't Well
My computer's giving me a hard time, been crashing all day long, saw a blue screen or two, but was able to recover. I just hope it makes it through the night. :)
If you don't see me here for a few days, Dell and I are in the emergency room. Flowers are welcome.

I'm holding a vigil for you.
Make it a 24-hour vigil. With candles and flowers. And weeping; lots of weeping and outbursts.
I'm afraid to turn the stupid computer off tonight ... it's been working now for two hours straight without a crash. It's a miracle!
Oh man..that has got to be nervewracking!
I'm going through the same crap with my home PC. I feel your pain.
I'll be weeping. I know if my computer crashed, never to recover, I would be weeping and wailing all over the place. Good luck.

Thanks guys! It's in twilight zone. It won't start beyond the BIOS Startup page, and it's right now at the computer hospital and I'm taking a minute on a neighbor's computer.
Good news, though--the guy at the repair shop called me to say that he has NEVER see a computer so "clean" in the 10 years he has fixed computers. I'm a fanatic about keeping spyware, adware, and other junk off the dang thing. He said he gives me "honors" for the state of my computer. Great--THEN HOW COME IT'S NOT WORKING? :)

Sounds like you won't have to bury it in the backyard but I'll keep my fingers crossed for you.
So is your computer saying bear with me at this moment in time?
Chill out Zed, it may be a wake up call but it should be no sweat to get it fixed.
