Teri, I hadn't had it cut professionally in 8 months. Sorry, I didn't make that clear. I've been chopping away at it with my own scissors for all this time. The guy who cut my hair told me I'd been doing a good job. Whew!
No, those aren't roots, that's a part. I don't get dark roots because I'm a natural redhead.
