Future Parties on November Wednesdays

Next week is Jen's Birthday party and the following week, 80's Party Day. There's no way you don't remember lava lamps...

Good times ahead!

Right now, I'm worn out from the 70s Party. For a dead guy, that Elvis sure can sing--and he just won't shut up! His search for Priscilla continues as well. Man, Elvis, get over it. You're dead!

So, I'm going to go shopping today with a friend to Pier 1 (home decor), Ulta (makeup/grooming), Anne Taylor (clothing), Aerosoles (shoes), and Chico's (more clothing). It's the least I can do for myself--I deserve it is my motto.

I'll let you know how it goes. I don't have much to spend so I might have to do vicarious shopping. That works--it's almost as good as me shopping for me!

Holy crap!
With all the weekly parties, bbq's, and concerts going on around here, I'll be on Intervention before you know it.

Actually, I was just discussing with the others that we should get a group together to do an intervention for you, mixednut.

We'll be over in an hour or so, and you're not leaving the room until you straighten out! :)

Wow there's some good parties come up. Hmmm I thought Lava lamps started in the 60's?

Oh oH i hope you're shopping. If you're not you're probably in the middle of an intervention!

The lava lamps are in honor of the 1970s and 1980s. I did a google search for 80s memorabilia and they popped on one of the sites.

Yes, I know I look confused. And I certainly can be confused. And have been confused. But in this ONE CASE I am not confused. Just this one time. lol

Okay, so here's my shopping report.
I bought two long-sleeve tees, black and white, and a winter scarf from Target; and a hair dryer and shine-release shampoo and conditioner from Ulta.

THAT'S IT! I'VE LOST MY SHOPPING TOUCH! I'VE LOST MY IDENTITY!

We were supposed to go to Barnes & Noble, but there was no time. I tried to go to Aerosoles, but it WAS CLOSED FOR RENOVATIONS (hrrumpff!!). We went to Chico's and my friend was going to buy a sweater and I pointed out a stain on the collar of the sweater when we got to the cash register, so she put it back and we left. WHAT KIND OF SHOPPING IS THIS?

I was so depressed I had to take a nap when I got home. haha! I'm going to try to get my shopping fix this weekend... Anne Altman, I saw your post too late, I'll pick you up something NEXT time. :)
