I thought Mr. T and the Rubik's Cube were 80's. They were so popular when I was in school.

However, I will be rolling over this disco ball and did Donna Summers call yet?

Oh, and don't forget:

It's fun to stay at the Y - M - C - A!

Looks like I'm going to have to replace that photo of Mr. T on the opening page with Starsky & Hutch (thanks Dale!). Nobody, though sick since Saturday, is obviously feeling better. pfft. haha!

Mel, I'm sure you're lovely in your prom dress...what color? style?

Teri, I love the young Donny and Marie. It's the older versions I'm not thrilled with. Didn't she have scarey plastic surgery that left her looking like a horse?

Rubik's Cube or (informally) Rubix Cube is a mechanical puzzle invented in 1974 by the Hungarian sculptor and professor of architecture Ernő Rubik....Originally called the Magic Cube by its inventor, it was renamed Rubik's Cube in 1980 and released worldwide in May of that year, winning a Spiel des Jahres special award for Best Puzzle. It is said to be the world's best-selling toy, with some 300,000,000 Rubik's Cubes and imitations sold worldwide.

For Teena's benefit I combed the whole of Scotland and found the remaining members of the Bay City Rollers! I brought them along along with The Sweet, Procul Harum and Slade. I've also invited Detectives Frank Cannon & Lt. Columbo to investigate any crimes and QUINCY, M.E. to perform any autopsies. I may get creative later on!!
I need to tone down the alcohol consumption so I've only brought six tankers of Vodka. I have my team of personal staff standing by at Amex to deliver your mixer of choice. I'm wearing my full seventies disco gear of white suit, purple lurex shirt and platform shoes, And I intend to Par-tay!!!

Sans, love the purple lurex shirt--are you wear striped purple pants as well? And a hat? Hats were b-i-g in the 1970s. With feathers and glitter and ribbons! What an image!

We have such great music now, between Donna Summer, Donny and Marie (well, not so great), Pink Floyd, Abba (haha!), Bay City Rollers, etc. etc.

And maybe we'll do an Elvis song in memorial--thanks for reminding me he died in 77 sushiboy! Have one in mind anyone?

Anyone surprised that Robin Williams of Mork and Mindy just went through intensive rehab? Anyone? Anyone at all? He should have been in rehab for the last 30 years...

I love Elvis's rendition of "Don't Be Cruel"--I was never a fan, but honestly that man can sing.

Hey, Elvis is still singing. Here are the words so you can sing along Teri:

DON'T BE CRUEL

You know I can be found,
Sitting home all alone,
If you cant come around,
At least please telephone.
Dont be cruel to a heart thats true.

Baby, if I made you mad
For something I might have said,
Please, lets forget the past,
The future looks bright ahead,
Dont be cruel to a heart thats true.
I dont want no other love,
Baby its just you Im thinking of.

Dont stop thinking of me,
Dont make me feel this way,
Come on over here and love me,
You know what I want you to say.
Dont be cruel to a heart thats true.
Why should we be apart?
I really love you baby, cross my heart.

Lets walk up to the preacher
And let us say I do,
Then youll know youll have me,
And Ill know that Ill have you,
Dont be cruel to a heart thats true.
I dont want no other love,
Baby its just you Im thinking of.

Dont be cruel to a heart thats true.
Dont be cruel to a heart thats true.
I dont want no other love,
Baby its just you Im thinking of.

Love Me Tender lyrics Mr. Fab. Go for it!

Love me tender,
Love me sweet,
Never let me go.
You have made my life complete,
And I love you so.

Love me tender,
Love me true,
All my dreams fulfilled.
For my darlin I love you,
And I always will.

Love me tender,
Love me long,
Take me to your heart.
For its there that I belong,
And well never part.

Love me tender,
Love me dear,
Tell me you are mine.
Ill be yours through all the years,
Till the end of time.

(when at last my dreams come true
Darling this I know
Happiness will follow you
Everywhere you go)

I brought Richard Pryor over to entertain us, Jack Tripper from Three's company, The Bee Gee's!!!! The Bay City Rollers Keepfollowing me! The Partridge family came too. CCR will be here soon, and so will Marvin Gaye. Gloria Gaynor might come and sing I will survive for us too.

I don't see too much to drink here. I brought some Kool-Aid and the mix for Harvey WallBangers. Mmmm (Vodka, Galliano, and Orange Juice). Yum.

Tricia, most people have gone home already, but Elvis is still here... He just keeps singing and singing, even though he's dead.

Here he is singing "Hound Dog"

HOUND DOG
You ain't nothin' but a hound dog
cryin' all the time.
You ain't nothin' but a hound dog
cryin' all the time.
Well, you ain't never caught a rabbit
and you ain't no friend of mine.

When they said you was high classed,
well, that was just a lie.
When they said you was high classed,
well, that was just a lie.
You ain't never caught a rabbit
and you ain't no friend of mine.
