ah, the 80s. actually i was in the middle of my divorce in the 80s, they weren't my best years. but i remember standing in an extremely long line trying to get a cabbage patch doll for my friend's daughter and helping to fend off other crazed parents. it was a wild time. lol and then there was, dare i say it, michael jackson. a young michael jackson... gag.

Oh the 80's - lots of good music (rock) from those days, big hair, shoulder pads even in blouses! Mini skirts made one of their infamous comebacks, oh and leggings were hot- especially if you wore them with an oversized sweater and a thick/wide belt. Now that was a look!
I hated that dreadful decade
But I will be there with my Duran duran cds!!!

I'm bringing my Strawberry Shortcakes doll.
She's seen better days though. Her hair's a mess & she looks like life has handed her a pretty rough ride. don't tell anyone but i'm pretty sure she's been around the block a few times.
I'm bringing my boom-box as well as a copy of "The Super Bowl Shuffle". You'll be able to recognize me. I'll be wearing my red, white, & black Air Jordans, a maroon Member's Only jacket, and Glaciers (sunglasses).
I'm bringing my Nintendo game system, my New Wave cd's, and my Rubik's cube.
Not hard to miss in my slip-on white Vans, and "Save Ferris" t-shirt.
I'm glad Chris brought a boom box.
We be poppin' n' breakin' to da boogaloo.
I brought hazy memories. Do I have to relive all of this? Haven't you done enough? Aiiiiieeeeee.
