She's on the Prowl for a Boyfriend
So far I still have longish hair. But yesterday I took a scissor to it at my mother's urging and it's now 1 to 1 1/2 inches shorter than the day my mother arrived.
I hope she's happy, though I'm thinking, no ... no, she's not.

We went clothes shopping and she choose size 5 items to try on. In the Junior Department. You know, where teenagers shop.
Me: Maybe you should try on the next size? Like a 6 in the Women's Department?
Mom: Why? I have a good figure and I want to show it off. I don't want to wear old-lady clothing!
Maybe she's trying to land a boyfriend! Please advise if you know of anyone.

Haha! Well, you probably will not see that, but if I can round up a picture of her when she was young, I'll scan it and post it. She was a looker.

I think it's awesome that she feels young and sexy enough to wear that stuff. Just don't claim her when she is wearing it.
Doctor Mom, So far my new scanner isn't working. What fun! But as soon as I figure it out, I post a pic.
GKL, K-Fed is not a bad option. I think he might be too old for her though.
Shelli, that's a good idea. "Just don't claim her." Love it! She actually looks pretty good in juniors and she really does have a pretty good figure. AND she can cross her legs at the knee at 88--an amazing feat all by itself. I think men might be fighting over her in Fla. She's a catch.
Shelli, I didn't clarify something. Not only can she cross her legs at the knee, but then she wraps the crossed leg around the other at the ankle. It like ... she's a contortionist! :)
I knew what you meant and the knee thing, my mom can do that too. I wish my mom were more stylish but then she has never been.
Mel, tell her to buy tighter clothing. Apparently it works wonders in the older crowd.
