My Nerves!
I was wrong. The plane leaves at 1 P.M. not 12 P.M.
AND SHE WANTS TO BE AT THE AIRPORT 3 HOURS EARLY BECAUSE SHE DOESN'T WANT TO MISS HER FLIGHT.
We're leaving my apartment at 9:45 for a 1:00 p.m. flight. I live 20 minutes from the airport.
She's making me nuts right down to the very last second.

The fact that she's going back is bittersweet for me. Although I'd hate for you to go completely insane, I have been enjoying the "Mama Zed" posts.
my mother always makes me insane. I try to avoid her for that very reason.
Three hours in the airport with the dear ol' gal? Sounds fun. :)
Chris, it's bittersweet for me as well. I love her, but I need to maintain some level of sanity to survive. She got to the gate, said she was going to read for the next 2:45 and told me to go home, that she'd be fine and wanted to read while waiting. Works for me! I'm home now, ALONE. What a wonderful feeling. I'm glad you liked the Mama Zed posts! They were fun for me too.
Nobody, it's their job, and they do it so well. And you'll do it to your kids, and your kids'll do it to their kids, and on and on ad infinitum. It's the way of the world. Not a GOOD way, but a way. :)
Sushiboy, I was spared the airport wait. She let me leave because she wanted to read while she waited, so I'm home now, and my cats Frankie & Johnny and I are going to take a nap. They were stressed in the last two weeks too. We're all very happy to have everything returned to status quo. Life is good.
you survived, and that's what counts.
we admit it: my husband and i enjoyed your pain over hte last two weeks. funny stuff. we look forward to her next visit. sorry about that.
psssttt, is she gone? **looking around from room to room**
poor, Zed. now she needs to recoup for another four months.
So, are you feeling back to normal yet or still decompressing?
Teri, she's gone. But every half hour or so I forget and think I hear her rustling around the kitchen or in the guest bathroom. I hope I get over this soon.
Chelene, almost back to normal--give it a day or so. I'm just a bunch of mixed emotions right now.
I've gotten to the airport four hours early for my mom. I hope I don't get that persnickety in my elder years.
I like the others will miss the "Mama Zed" post. But your normal post are still fun! Besides, we wouldn't want to lose you to insanity.
Thats her job Zeb!! I have to say, well done mama Zed!
hehehe. Mom's worry about that type of thing. It's their job.
Besides, what if there was traffic? ROFL!

I will miss your Mom :(
I am glad though that not all your sanity is gone.
